The ACCUD Series 641 set of precision parallel shims is designed for the precise shimming, alignment, and positioning of workpieces during machining, measurement, and inspection operations. The shims allow for uniform support of the workpiece at the desired height and are suitable for use in machine vises, on machine tools, and in other precision engineering operations.
The shims are made of alloy tool steel and hardened to a hardness of HRC 55–60, ensuring high wear resistance. The parallelism accuracy of the upper and lower surfaces is 5 µm, and the maximum height difference between shims in a matched pair is 5 µm.
Sets are available in versions with 20 or 24 pairs of shims and in lengths of 100, 125, or 150 mm.
