Product description

The ACCUD Series 641 set of precision parallel shims is designed for the precise shimming, alignment, and positioning of workpieces during machining and inspection operations. The shims provide uniform support for workpieces at the desired height and are suitable for use in machine vises, milling machines, and other machine tools.

The shims are made of alloy tool steel and hardened to a hardness of HRC 55–60. The parallelism of the upper and lower surfaces is 5 µm, and the height difference between shims in a matched pair is 5 µm.

Individual variants contain 8, 9, 10, or 14 pairs of shims in various heights. Lengths of 150, 160, and 200 mm and thicknesses of 3, 4, 8, or 10 mm are available.
