The ACCUD HM1000 Haze Meter is a professional optical instrument designed for precise measurement of haze and light transmittance in transparent and semi-transparent materials. Using an integrated Φ20 mm measuring aperture and a high-quality detector, it captures the amount of light transmitted directly through the material and the amount that is scattered, indicating how “hazy” or opaque the material is.
This parameter is essential for quality evaluation of plastic films, glass, surface coatings, and other transparent products, where optical clarity is critical for both functionality and aesthetics.
The instrument features a touchscreen display and quality control software and complies with a range of international haze measurement standards.
